How it all began

Paulo Barreto founded TAP Transportes in 2001 in Presidente Prudente with a simple idea: fast, reliable road transport for people and businesses in western São Paulo state. The first trucks bridged the region and the rest of the state.

Operations grew into northern Paraná and Mato Grosso do Sul. Today distribution leaves headquarters in Regente Feijó, on the Raposo Tavares highway, and reaches the network's 20 branches and bases, each responsible for a group of cities in its region.

How the network works

Each branch serves neighbouring cities on fixed routes. Smaller towns have set service days (for example Tuesday and Thursday), which keeps delivery times predictable and costs low. See the full list under cities served or explore the network map.
